Destination Covered : Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Alleppey

Day 1 : ARRIVE COCHIN - MUNNAR

On arrival at Cochin airport meet with our representative and leave for Munnar. On the way, we will be enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvellous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. On arrival at Munnar, check in at the hotel. In the evening, we will have a walk along with its tea gardens, which are spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres. Munnar is a magnificent scenic place, difficult to describe in words. In the evening return to the hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 2 : MUNNAR

Our full day will be dedicated to the Munnar tea as Tea and coffee is the main cultivation crops in Munnar. After breakfast, we will have a guided tour to Tea plantation of Munnar visiting the green pastures of its massif tea gardens. We will also visit the century-old tea factories where one can taste and pick up the finest tea in the country. Here, we will have a visit to the Tata Tea Museum where we will witness the tea-processing. Later, in the evening return to the hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 3 : MUNNAR

After breakfast, full day sightseeing in and around Munnar. Enjoy panoramic views of Anamudi, the highest peak of South India at 2695 m, is visible from Munnar. Visit the Christ Church and proceed for wildlife watching at Eravikulam National Park (16 km).
Note: Park would be close from 01Jan to 28 Feb every year Continue to Rajamalai Hills lying adjacent to the park and stop by at Madupetty Dam, a famous picnic spot for boating and horse riding en route to Top Station. Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.


Day 4 : MUNNAR - THEKKADY/PERIYAR

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, the largest wildlife sanctuary of Kerala. The 120 years Old Surki dam built across the reserve. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 777 Sq. km, surrounded by an artificial lake over an area of 25 sq. km. On arrival, check into the wildlife resort. In the afternoon, enjoy the nature trek around the tea and cardamom plantation. An overnight stay at the resort.
Periyar National Park Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve, named after the Periyar river, is one of Kerala's prestigious possessions on the high ranges of the Western Ghats. Falling in the Idukki district of Kerala, this forest reserve surrounds the Periyar Lake, which was created in 1895 by building a dam across the Periyar river (to divert the water to Tamil Nadu for irrigation). The forests around the lake were declared as Reserved Forests in 1899.


Day 5 : THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY

In the morning, enjoy boat cruise in Periyar Lake to have the glimpse of its nature & wildlife. Later, after breakfast drive to Alleppey, the most beautiful tourist centre in Kerala state, with a large network of inland canals earning it the synonymous "Venice of the east". These large networks of canals provide Aleppo its lifeline and immense natural beauty. Upon arrival at boarding jetty check into the houseboat. Enjoy an overnight stay.


Day 6 : ALLEPPEY - COCHIN DEPARTURE

After breakfast disembark the houseboat and drive to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin drop you at airport to connect flight for onward destination.
